Team Paddlers Against LimitS (P.A.L.S.) is best known for their war-cry “P.A.L.S 拼啊!”. A group of like-minded avid dragon boaters hailing from all walks of life, diverse cultures and ages; we’re unified by our passions both in and out of the water. Born of humble origins, the team operates on an all-inclusive yet keenly competitive team policy.

Team Paddlers Against LimitS (P.A.L.S.)

is best known for their war-cry “P.A.L.S 拼啊!” and the infamous ice-box challenges during races. A group of like-minded avid dragon boaters hailing from all walks of life, diverse cultures and ages; we’re unified by our passions both in and out of the water.

Born of humble origins, the team operates on an all-inclusive yet keenly competitive team policy.

P.A.L.S participates in Open category and Club category races against other local teams from various tertiary institutions, corporates and sport clubs. Apart from local major dragon boat races in Singapore, our team joins overseas races from time to time, example: in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Hong Kong.

Dragonboat is not only a sport, it is an art. A form of art where you will learn to appreciate team spirit, focus, have the determination and the will to train, to win.

You may not necessarily be physically strongest amongst the team, however, with the never-say-die positive trait, we will train you up, both physically and mentally.

Discipline

Discipline is one of the key factors in Dragonboat. In rowing, discipline will turn into strong mental strength that will take over when your arms became dead tired. The stronger the discipline is instilled during training, the stronger the desire to train, to win and eventually, to achieve your goals together with the team. Dragonboat is a team sport. Discipline starts from you, and that builds the team.

Commitment

Focus on being all one team. Commitment to land and water trainings can never be overemphasised. Individual skills, style, experience and knowledge all contribute to the work of the team. At the end of the day, we are all one team who achieve the results together. If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. We believe in building the team, together.

Wellness

Eating healthily is rarely a popular idea, and it’s easy to understand why. There is also a common saying that we are what we eat. Taking good care and being responsible of yourself is even more important in a team sport. Everyone matters, with good nutrition, an active lifestyle (like Dragonboat), and good stress-management skills can help maintaining good health. Creating an even better body shape and an healthier you!
